On September 19, 2023 azerbaijan launched an attack against the Armenians of Artsakh.

The 150,000 Armenian inhabitants of Artsakh had already been under an azerbaijani blockade for 9 months. Cut off from electricity, gas, food, water, and medicine, the azerbaijani bombings and attacks forced the Armenians of Artsakh out of their ancestral homes. Over 150,000 Armenians have been forcibly displaced.
